World Wide Exhibition of Botanical Art 2018
Poster World Exhibition
This world wide exhibition is a collaboration between botanical artists, organizations and institutions worldwide. It is held at venues in over twenty countries and links people to plants through contemporary botanical art. On 18th May 2018 a Worldwide Day of Botanical Art will be held with special events around the world following the sun from venue to venue.

Artists from each participating country will depict plants indigenous to that country. Alongside that country’s original artwork a digital compilation of images from all exhibitions worldwide will also be shown. The artists are dedicated to build partnerships between artists, institutions, scientists, and the public, to raise awareness of the worldwide renaissance in botanical art, to increase appreciation and understanding of the world’s precious plant diversity and its interconnectedness, to acknowledge and build upon the increasing ease of communication and connection between botanical artists wherever they might live and work and also to engage in a project to document some of the world’s wild plant species.
